Art is like a fart

Art is like a fart that slips right out of your brain

Not stinky or smelly but magic insane.

Seeping out when you least foresee

Light and funny open carefree.

Sometimes a squeak a tiny blip

Other times a loud rolling ship.

Don’t be afraid to let yours out

Holding in isn’t what it’s about.

A silent but deadly is the goal

Clear that room to see what will unfold.

Throw open a window or a door

Cleaning out pipes makes room for much more.

More room on the outside than in

So, this is where we will begin.

Never worry about where it will dock

Let it out boldly, a yell or a squawk.

Find beauty in nature take photos galore

Go through them with joy and you’ll never be bored.

Make magic with charcoal, watercolor, oil

Put it down quickly as to not let it spoil.

Dali Kahlo Picasso Monet

Started with an idea just this way.

Use clay or metal mold model and make

Wonderful creations to sculpt squish and bake.

Michelangelo, Kusama, Koons

All started sculpting in tiny rooms.

David, Dots, Balloon Dog and more

Art in the world that lives and roars.

Magical worlds that start with an idea

Now a part of our culture, like a tortilla.

Seuss, Baum, Milen and Dahl

Used pens to tell tales tall.

Dorothy, Charlie, Horton, and Pooh

All had adventures I wish for you.

Make up a song strike up the band

Always it must come from your hands.

Mozart, Bowie, Beyonce and Swift

Give us their music, a special gift.

Sometimes it’s hard to smell others wind

You must start somewhere so let’s begin.

Today is the day now being the time

Take up that instrument, complete that rhyme.

The world wants to see what you create

It might be smelly but could be great.

So don’t be afraid be bold make art

Now is the time to let out that fart.
